ORDINANce fro....3:.{ 2--" --"Jtt: ORDINANCE OF TH8 CITY OF OCOE;i;, FLORIDA, AlnE'.~xnrG A CEmr.r!\.IN THACr.r ~ir; m-TINCCRPORATED LAND LYING CCW.rIGUOUS TC 'I':tm IilUNICIPAL BCUITDARJE S OF T}LS CITY 010 DCOEE AND SIT]tTED IN OHANGE COmTTY, I!LOHIDA, TO-JIlT: Lot 12, Block "Ell of Pounds addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book ":Nll, Page 14, Public He cords of Orange County, Plorida. :JHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WESREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and Wtl~REAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of January, 1955, duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, and WKEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by laH, and WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIrE: CITY COUlrCIL OIi' THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Plorida, be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described land lyingaad situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follolriS : Lot 12, Block "BlI of Pounds Addi tion to Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "N", Fage 14, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General LaHS of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee now exercises pOHer, authority and jurisdiction over other lands within its municipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinanc e shall bec'::me effective immediately upon its becoming a laH. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect. Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 10th day of February, 1955.
