U1HHCOHPOHA'r::m LlmD LY1}'TG CON'l'IGUCUS TO 'llHE IvIUNICIPAL BCUJ'TDAHIES OF T.E-:JE CITY 01" OCOEE AND S I TUA'.rBD IN ORANGE cou:wry, FLORIDA, TO -'.JIT: Lot 6, Block "BIl of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "NlI, Page 14, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. vJHEHEAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and 1rJHEHEAS, the City of 0 coee did on the 7th day of January, 1955, duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in acccrdance with the provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Gcoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, and vJHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by laH upon said land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, nOH therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI'IT COUNCIL OF THE CI'I'Y OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby are, extended to include the l~ollO\~ing described land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: Lot 6, Block "Bll of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "N", Page lL~, Public RecoI'ds of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee Shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Cm rter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida,as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee nOH exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over other lands within its municipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by laH and the Charter of the City of Ocoeeo Section L~. This Ordinance shall become effective imrrlediately upon its becoming a law. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
