OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO TIm HU1UCIPAL BOUNDARIES

Lot 5, Block "Ell of Founds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book llNll, Page l~_, Public Hecords of Orange County,
Florida.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to
the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
IJHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of January, 1955, duly
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
W}ffiREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, nOH therefore,
BE I'l' ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIl, OF THE CITY OP OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described
~nd lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territor;!' of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 5, Block llBII of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book "NIl, Page 1L!_, Public Records of Orange County,
Florida.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the~fective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described i~ Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoee now exercises pOHer, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands Hithin its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of tllls Ordinf1DC'.e shall be posted as provided for by II

Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective irmnediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, F'lorida, this 10th
day of February, 1955.
