ANNEXING A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN OBANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, to.-wi t: Lot 18, Blook dAM, Esther Heights, acoording to the p~t thereof re- oorded in Plat Book 0, Page 95, of the Public Records of Orange County, Florida. WHEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporated land is lying oontiguous to the municipal boundaries. of the City of Oeoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered Toters, and WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Oooee, and WHEREAS, the ~ity of Ocoee did on the 5th day of May, 1954, duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described herein~ aboved to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the pro- visions therefor in Section 67 of the~aharter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special .lots, Florida ~egislature, 192.5,. and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said lands and in said City of Ocoee for the period presoribed by law, and WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OeOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Gcoee, Florida, be t and they hereby are, extended to incl ude the following described land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said traot of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: Lot 12, Blook "A", Esther Heights, according to the plat thereof re- corded in Plat Book 0, Page 95, of the Public Recorda; of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee ahall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Cmrter of the ~ity of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely a s the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over other lands with- in its munioipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law and the Charter of the Oi ty of 000 ee. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately when pt.ssed by the City Counoil and approved by the Mayor. S"ection 5. All Ordinances and J:a rts of Ordinances in ca.ntlict herewi th are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and e ffeot.
