,/' CIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY.
FLORIDA.
Lot 12, Block "A", E.ther Heights, according to the plat thereot re-
corded in Plat Book 0, Page 95, of the Public Records of Orange County,
Florida.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land 1s lying contiguous
to the municipal boundaries ot the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS. said traot ot land oontains less than ten (10) registered
voters, and
WHEREAS, the said land i. susceptible of receiving munioipal benetits
ot the City of Ocoee, and
WHEREAS, the City ot Ocoee desires to annex the 8aid land to it8 pre-
sent municipal boundarie8 in accordance with the provisions theretor
in Section 67 ot the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951,
S,ecial Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida
Statutes, now theretore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the
following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the muni-
cipal boundaries ot the City ot OC088 and situated in Orange County,
Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending it8
territorial lim1ts to include the said land within 8aid territorial
limit8 and to exercise tull ,ower and authority over said land in ac-
cordance with the Charter ot the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special
Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General LaW8 at the State ot
Florida, said land being .ore particularly described as tollowa:
Lot 12, Block "A", Esther Heights, aocording to the plat thereot re-
oorded in Plat Book 0, Page 95, at the Public Reoords of Orange County,
Florida.
Section 2. The City of Ceoee hereby declares its intent to enact an
Ordinance at its first regular .eeting held atter the next ensuing
thirty (30) day. from the etfective date of thi8 Ordinance, thereby
ordaining that the 8aid land de8cribed in Section 1 hereof be annexed
to the territorial limits ot the City ot Ocoee, and ordaining that the
territorial limita ot the City of Ocoee be extended to include the 8aid
land aa described herein, and ordaining that trom and atter the eftective
date ot said Ordinance that the City of Ocoee shall exercise full power
and authority over said land in accordance with the Charter ot the City
of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legialature, 1925, and
the General Laws ot the State of Florida.
Section 3. Copie8 of this Ordinance shall be posted a8 prov1ded tor
by law and the Charter of the C1ty of Ocoee.
,Section.. This Ordinance shall beco.. eftective immediately when
passed by the C1ty Council and approyed by th. Kayor.
Section 5. All Ordinancea and parts ot Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portions a8 are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full
torce and eftect.
Done in open aesslon, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this
5th day of May, 1954.
