ORDINANCE No. /.5'~
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND ALLOCATING ALL REVENUE OF THE CITY OF
OCOEE, FLORIDA, FOR THE TAX YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1954, AND ENDING
OCTOBER 31, 1955.

WHEREAS, the total amount necessary, as determined by the City Council
of the City of Ocoee, Florida, to defray the actual operating and debt
service requirements of the municipal government of said City for the
tax collection year which begins on November 1, 1954, and which ends on
October 31, 1955, is the sum of $29,300.00 dollars, and
WHEREAS, a tax levy of 15 mills has been levied upon all property within
the said City for debt service requirements, and
WHEREAS, the total debt service requirements of the said City for said
year amounts to the sum of $7,907.49, all of which sum is levied and is
now allocated and appropriated to the payment of the principle and in-
terest upon said City's Refunding Bonds, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that there will be available for use and dis-
bursement from the interest and sinking fund of said City, the sum of
$7,907.49 for the debt service requirements from the aforesaid tax levy
of 15 mills, and
WHEREAS, a tax levy of 4.9 mills has been levied upon all property within
the said City, which is not exempt from municipal taxation of the said
City under and by virtue of the Constitution of the State of Florida, for
the actual operating expenses, and
WHEREAS, the total amount necessary for the operating expenses of said
City for said year is the sum of $21,392.51, all of which sum is levied
and is now allocated and appropriated to the payment of said operating
expenses, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that there will be available for use and dis-
bursement~romthe general fund of said City, revenue and funds from the
following sources and in the following amounts:
Ad Valorem tax
Cigarette tax
Utility tax
Water collections
Fines & Forfeitures
Rents
Licenses
Miscellaneous

WHEREAS, the operating expenses of said City to be paid from its general
fund is expected to be as follows:

be, and the same is allocated and appropriated to the full satisfaotion
of the current debt service requirements of the municipal government of
said City for the tax colleotion year which begins on November 1, 1954,
and which ends on October 31, 1955.
Section 2. That the sum of $21,392.51, or such portion there'lii)if as may
be realized from the collection of anticipated revenue as alre.e set forth
and the oollection of the tax of 4.9 mills levied ~s aforesaid, be, and
it hereby is allocated and appropriated to the general fund of said City,
for disbursement of the operating expenses of said City in conformity to
the provisions of the Charter of said City during the tax colleotion year
which begins on November 1, 1954, and whioh ends on October 31, 1955.
Section 3. That the sum realized from the oollection of Cigarette Tax
Revenue, be, and it hereby is, allocated and appropriated for disbursement
in accordance with the tenor and effect of Section 210.03(5) Florida
Statutes during the tax collection year which begins on November 1, 1954,
and which ends on Ootober 31, 1955.
Section 4. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Oooee.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 6. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonfliot herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 7. Should any portion of this Ordinanoe be held invalid, then
such portion as are not deolared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
