AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, FOR THE TAX YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1954, AND
ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1955.
WHEREAS, the City tax assessor has heretofore prepared an assessment
roll of all the taxable property of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and. '\he
respective values tnereof,and as far as practi~able the owners thereof,
and
WHEREAS, the City assessment roll has been submitted to the City Council
after due and proper notice to the property owners whose property has been
increased, or corrected as to the values, and such other requirements of
notice having been met, and
WHEREAS, a review and equalization of the assessment roll by the City
Council has been concluded, and
WHEREAS, a millage of 15 mills is necessary to produce a fund sufficient
to defray the actual' debt service requirements of the City of Ocoee, for
the tax year which begins on November 1, 1954, and which ends on October
31, 1955, and .
WHEREAS, a millage of 4.9 mills is necessary to produce a fund sufficient
to defray actual operating expenses of the City of Ocoee for the said tax
year, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL i OF THE CI'rY OF OCOEE:
