ORDINANCE No./~~
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA,
FOR THE TAX YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1954, AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1955.

WHEREAS, the City assessment roll has been submitted to the City Council
after due and proper notice, and a review and equalization of said assess-
ment roll by the City Counoil has been conoluded, and
WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that the sum of $29,300.00 dollars is
necessary to defray the aotual operating and debt service requirements
of the municipal government of the City of Ocoee for the tax collection
year which begins on November 1, 1954, and which ends on October 31, 1955,
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That a millage of 15 mills is necessary to prOduce a fund
suffioient to defray the actual debt servioe requirements of the municipal
government of the City of Ocoee for the Dax year whioh begins on November
1, 1954, and which ends on October 31, 1955. .
Section 2. That a millage of 4.9 mills is neoessary to produce a fund
sufficient to defray the actual operating service requirements of the
munioipal government of the City of Oooee for the said tax year.
Section 3. That the tax rate for the sg~d City of Ocoee for the said
fisoal year shall be 19.9 mills on the properties within the present
City boundaries.
Section 4. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Seotion 5.-- -This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 6. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Seotion 7. Should any portton of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
