AI '~INANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE ~ FLORIDA, ANNEXING~.A. -~TAIN TRACT
OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTINGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, to-wit:
Lot 22, Block 4 of the Town of Oooee, according to plat thereof re-
corded in Plat Book "A", Pages 100-101, Public Reoords of Orange County,
Florida.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous
to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered
voters, and

WHEREAS, said land is susoeptible of reoeiving municipal benefits of
the City of Oooee, and

WHEREAS, the City of~Ocoee did on the 7th d~y of September, 1954, duly
adopt an Ordinance d,claring its intent to annex the land desoribed
hereinabove to its present munioipal boundaries in accordanoe with the
provisions therefor in Seotion 61 of the Charter of the 6ity of Ocoee,
Ghapter 10951, ~eoial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04
Florida Statu~s~ and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said
lands and in said City of Ocoae for the period presoribed by law, and
WHEREAS, no objaction to said anne_ltion has been tiled in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, n.. therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUllOIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to inoludethe following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the munioipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 22, Block 4 of the Town of Oooee, acoording to plat thereof re-
oorded in Plat Book "A", Pages 100-101, Publio Records of Orange County;
Florida.

Seotion 2. That the City of Oooee shall and will from the effeotive
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in aocordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts 1925, and the General Laws
of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee
now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over other lands within
its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for
by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effeotive immediately upon its
beooIrl.ng a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Seotion 6. Should any portion of tais Ordinanoe be held invalid, then
suc,h portion as are not declared tolpe invalid shall remain in full. force
and effect.
