OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN '.raACT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTINGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, to-wit: \ Lot 13, Blook IIBIt of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof-./ recorded in Plat Book "Nit, Page 14, Public Records of Orange CounxY Joi ,P:~ Florida. ~~ WHEREAS, the above desoribed uninoorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Oooee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract'of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving munioipal benefits of the City of Oooee, and ( WHEREAS, the City of Oooee did on the 7th day of September, 1954, duly adopt an Ordinanoe declaring its intent to annex the land desoribed hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordanoe with the provisions therefor in Seotion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Aots, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, said Ordinanoe was duly posted as presoribed by law upon said lands and in said City of Ocoee for the periOd prescribed by law, and WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Cirouit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, l ) 4. l:J~jf BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby are, extanded to include the following described land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the City of Ocoee, Florida, said land-being more particularly desoribed as tollows: Lot 13, Block "Bit of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, aocording to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "N", Page 14, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exeroise full power and authority over the land desoribed in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the City ot Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Speoial Aots 1925,and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Oooee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiotion over other lands within its municipal limits. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for by law and tne Charter of the City of Oooee. Seotion 4. This Ordinance shall beoome etfective immediately upon its becoming a law. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in oonflict herewith are hereby repealed. Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then suoh portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and efteet.
