ORDINANCE NO. 19~
AN O~CE. OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A C'H!1i1N TRACT
OF UN!lfeOtrPORATED LAND LYING CONTINGUOUS TO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, to-wit:

WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous
to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Fl&pida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered
voters, and

WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ocoee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of September, 1954, duly
adopt an Ordinanoe declaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in aocordance with the
. provisions theretoI' in Section 61 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 111.04
Florida Statutes, and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
lands and in said City of Ocoee for tne periOd presoribed by law, and
WHEREAS, no cbjection to said annexation has been filed in the dipcuit.
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Seotion 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following des~ibed
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly desGPibed as
f{)llows:
Lot 5, Block "A" of Pounds Addition to Oooee, acoording to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book "N", Page 14, Public Records of Orange County,
Florida.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinanoe exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Seotion 1 hereof, in aocordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts 1925, and the General Laws
of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as th. City ot Ocoee
now exeroises power, authority and jurisdiotion over other lands within
its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinanoe shall be posted as provided for
by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinanoe shall become effeotive Lmmediately upon its
beooming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Seotion 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full for~
and effect.
