AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF T}lli CITY OF OCOEE: FLORIDA:'TO
ANlfEX A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO TBI
MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE AND SITUATED IN ORANGE cobTY,
FLORIDA, TO-WIT:
Lot 4, Block "A" of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat th~"Q.t
recorded in Plat Book "N", Page 14, Public Records of Orange CountY'f.U:J

WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguou.:.;~
the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and.
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registeredVQ~~S,
and
WHEREAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of
the City of Ocoee, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present
municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Sec-
tion 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts,
Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now there-
fore, .
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
B.ection 1. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to annex the
following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the muni-
cipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County,
Florida, to its present municipal boundaries, thereby extending its
territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial
limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in ac-
cordance with the Charter of the 'City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special
Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of
Florida, said land being more particular~y described as follows:
Lot 4, Block "AU of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof
recorded in: Plat Book "N", Page 14, Public Records of Orange C01ll1ty,
Florida.
Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its intent to enact an
Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the next ensuing
thirty (30) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby
ordaining that the said land descri~ed in Section 1 hereof be annexed
to the territorial limits of the eity of Ocoee, and ordaining that the
territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extended to include the said
land as described herein, and ordaining that from and after the effective
date of said Ordinance that the City 'of Ocoee shall exercise full power
and authority OVBr said land in accordance with the Charter of the City
of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and
the General Laws of the State of Florida.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
becoming a law.
"'- Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. $hould any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion a~ are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.'
