City of Ocoee, and

HHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on tlle 7th day of December, 195L!-, duly
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex U18 land described
hereinabove to it s pl'esent municipal boundaries in accoI'danc e Hit [1 the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of vcoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
WI-}ERSAS, said Ordinance WaS duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of U coee for' the period prescribed by ImJ, and
v.JHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAIl'JED BY TI-JE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-JE CITY OF OCOEE:

Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereb;{ are, extended to include the folloliJing des cri bed
land lying and si tua ted in Orange COUllty, Florida, and, tha t said tract
of land be, and it her>eby is, annexed to the nlU11icipal territory e'f the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
folloHs:
Lot 24, Block 4 of the T01:Jn of Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book "AI!, Pages 100-101, Public Records of Orange County,Florida.
Section 2. That the City of iJcoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full pOHer and authorit,y oveI' the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 1095l, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and tbe General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the Ci tJi- of Ocoee noVJ exercises pow-er, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands "0it.hin its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as prvvided for by
lavl and the Cb.ar-cer of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective irrr::!lediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any- portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of January, 1955.
