AN ORDINANCE OF TM CITY OF' CCOZE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERil'AIN rrRACT
OF w{INCORPORATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO T}ill ~rrn~ICIPAL BOUNDARIES

Lot 42, Block L~ of the Town of Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book "All, Pages 100-101, Public Records of Orange County, Florida.
WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to
the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
irJHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of De cember, 1951-1-, dul-y-
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
1'71. 04 Florida Statutes, and
vvHEHEAS, said Urdinanc e liJaS duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
lana and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, F'lorida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described
land lying and situated.in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 42, Block 4 of the Town of Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book "All, Pages 100-101, Public ReCD rds of Orange County, Florida.
Section 2. That the City of ucoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter l095l, Special Acts 1925, and the General Laws
of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee
now exercises pOlITer, aut hori ty ani jurisdiction over other lands wi thin
its municipal limit s .
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinaree shall be posted as provided for
by law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective irr.mlediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of January, 1955.
