OF UNINCCRPGRATED LAND LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE lIUiHCIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF TF..E CITY OF UCOEE AND SITUATED IN CHANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA, rrO-vJIT:
Lot 6, of A. N. Clark's Subdivision of the To1tJll of Ocooe, according to
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "a", Page 20, Public R,]cords of
Oranse County, Florida.
~fHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is ly:L:ng eontiguous to
the mun:Lcipal boundaries of the City of Ocoeo, F'loricla, and
1:JHEHEAS, said tract of land cont ains less than ten (10) J:,oglstered voters,
and_
WHERJ~_S, said land is susceptible of receiving mu.nicipal b')n'31'i ts of the
City of Ccoee, and
\H{C;:Ru:"'S, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of De cembep, 195Li-, duly
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accol'dance 1td th the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.0L~ }'lorida Statutes, and
\'l:HEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange CountJT, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAIlffiD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereb-y are, extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 6, of A. M. Clark's Subdivision of the Town of Ocoee, according to
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "R", Page 20, Public Records of
Orange County, Florida.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its municipal limits.
S~ction 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective imnlediately upon its
becoming a law.
Section 5. All Ordinances ana parts of Ordinances in conflict here\~i th
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of January, 1955.
