VHIER31\.S, the City- of Ocoee did on the 7th day of December, 195L!-, duly
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land describod
heroinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordo.nce Hith the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ucoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida LegiSlature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
-\'{fffiREAS, said Ordinance was dul-y posted as prescribed by law upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
v1/HEHEAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CrCY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of Oeoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it hereby is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more partieular1y described as
fol10VJs:
Lot 28, Block Lj_, of the TOvffi of Ocoee, according to plat thereof ~C'ecorc1ed
in Plat Book "All, Pages 100-101, Public Records of Orange Count;y-, Flcrida.
Section 2. That the City of vcceo shall and vJi11 frclill the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter l0951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General LaViS 01~ the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoee now e:;~ercises pOHer, authority and jurisdiction ever
other lands within its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for b:/
laH and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective' inunediately upon its
becoming a lavJ.
Section 5. All Ordinanc es and parts of Ordinances in confliet herevJi th
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full fOI'ce
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of Januar'y, 1955.
