lrJEt;REAS, trle above des cri bed unincorporated land is l;yring contiSl1ous to
the municipal boundaries of the. City of Ocoee, Florida, and
WHEREAS, said tract of landoontains less than ten (10) registered voters,
and
WHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving rmmicipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
WrillREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of December, 1954, duly
adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of ucoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
HI-IEREAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by Im.J upon said
land and in said City of Ocoee for the period prescribed by law, and
WHEREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COu~CIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section l. That the mW1icipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
be, and they hereby are, extended to include the following described
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it here by. is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 1, Block E, in Seegar Subdivision in Ocoee, said plat recorded in
Plat Book L, Page 122, Public Records of Orange Ccunty, Florida.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full power and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance ilU th the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands In thin its municipal limits.
Section 3. Copies of this Crdinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.

Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of January, 1955.
