AN OHDINANCE OF THE; CITY OF' OC()ZE, FLORIDA, ANNEXING A CERTAIN TRACT OF UNINCORPOHATED LAND LYING CON'J:IGUOUS TO THE IvIUNICIPAL B01J1ITDARJE S OF THE CI'l'Y OF OCOE}-i::; AND SITUATED IN OHANGE COUN'l'Y, FLORIDA, rl'C-iiIT: Lot 25, Block 4- of the Town of Ccoee, accor'ding to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book flAil, Pages lOO-lOl, Public Records of Orange COLmty, Florida. - vllf.8::REAS, the above described unincorporated ]a nd is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of vcoee, Florida, and wHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) re~stered voters, and ~JHEREAS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of December, 195L~, duly adopt an Ordinance declaring its intent to annex the land described hereinabove to its present TIlunicipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Ssction 67 of the Charter of the City of ~coee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171. OL~ Florida Statutes, and \l1-mHEAS, said Ordinance was duJy posted as prGscrived by law upon said land and in said City of ucoee for the period prescribed by law, and "liSREAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIill CITY COu~CIL OF TllE CI1Y OF CCOEE: Section 1. That the TIlunicipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, be, and they hereby are, extended to include thefullowing described land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract of land be, and it hereby is, amlexed to the municipal territory of the Cit.y of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as folloHs: Lot 25, Block 4 of the Tovm of Ocoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "At!, Pages 100-101, Public Records of Opange County, Florida. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee shall and will from the effective date of this Ordinance exercise full pOvJer and authority over the land described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jutisdiction over other lands within its municipal limits. Section 3. law and the Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a la1..J. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect. Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange COilllty, Florida, this 7th day of January, 1955.
