Lot 9, Elock "B" of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, accordir1g to plat thereof
recorded :In Plat Book N, Page l4-, Public Records of Cranse County,Florida.
l1HEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is l"JTing cont iguous to
the municipal bOlmdaries of the City of Ccoee, FloI'ida, and
1-JHEREAS, said tract of land contains less Ulan ten (10) register ed voters,
and
v!:rillffi AS, said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the
City of Ocoee, and
\J\JHERKA.S, the City of Ocoee did on the 7th day of December, 195L~, duly
adopt an Ordinanc e declaring its intent to arlnex the 1811 d des cribed
hereinabove to its present municipal boundaries in accordance vd th the
provisions therefor in Section 67 of the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section
171.04 Florida Statutes, and
vn-Jl~REAS, said Ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by lavJ upon s aiel
land and in said City of Gcoee for the period proscribed by law, and
~rHEHEAS, no objection to said annexation has been filed in the Circuit
Com~t of Orange County, Florida, now therefore,
BE 1'1' ORDAINED BY TJ.--IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF C)CCEE:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of vcoee, Florida,
be, and they tlOreby are, extendod to include the folloHing des cribed
land lying and situated in Orange County, Florida, and, that said tract
of land be, and it herehy is, annexed to the municipal territory of the
City of Ocoee, Florida, said land being more particularly described as
follows:
Lot 9, Block "B" of Pounds Addition to Ocoee, according to plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book N, Page 1L~, Public Records of Orange County,:B'lorida.
Section 2. That the City of ()coee shall and Hill from the effective
date of this Ordinance exercise full povJer and authority over the land
described in Section 1 hereof, in accordance with the Charter of the
City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925,
and the General Laws of the State of Florida, as fully and completely as
tue City of Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its f!lunicipal limits.
Section j. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by
law and the Charter of the City of Ocoee.

This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
law.
Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section 6. Should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then
such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force
and effect.
Done in open session, at Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, this 7th
day of January, 1955.
