WHEREAS, the above described unincorporated land is lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and WHEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten (10) registered voters, and (" '-.. WHEREAS, the said land is susceptible of receiving municipal benefits of the City of Ocoee, and WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee desires to annex the said land to its present municipal boundaries in accordance with the provisions therefor in Sec- tion 67 of the Charter of the City of ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, now there- fore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. The City of Ocoee hereby caeclares its intent to annex the following described unincorporated land lying contiguous to the muni- cipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida, to its present municipal boundarie~, thereby extending its territorial limits to include the said land within said territorial limits and to exercise full power and authority over said land in ac- cordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida, said land being more particularly described as follows: Lot 7, Block "An, of Pounds Addition to Ucoee, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "N", Page 14, Public Records of Orange County,Florida. Section 2. The City of Ocoee hereby declares its int.,~t to enact an Ordinance at its first regular meeting held after the(\fi'UeK,t ensuing thirty (30) days from the effective date of this Ordinance, thereby ordaining that the said land desc~~bed in Section 1 hereof be annexed to the territorial limits of the c~:i{:;y of Ocoee, and ordaini~g that the territorial limits of the City of Ocoee be extended to incl~e the said land as described herein, and cr daining tha t from and after" 'the effective date of said Ordinance that the City ofOcoee shall exercise full power and autnority over said land in accordance with the Charter of the City of OC{1i);ti$, Chapter 10951, Special Acts, Florida Legislature, 1925, and the General Laws of the State of Florida. Section 3. Copies of this Ordinance shall be posted as provided for by law ana the Charter of the City of Ocoee. Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its becoming a law. Section 5. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. should any portion of this Ordinance be held invalid, then such portion as are not declared to be invalid shall remain in full force and effect.
