AJ:f ORDIDNCE LEVYIliG A TAX UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITH!
I1f THE eITY OF oeon, FLORIDA, FOR TEE TAX YEAR BEGINN-
ING NOVEMBER 1, 1952, and ENDnfG OCTOBER 31, 1953.

WHEREAS, the City tax assessor has heretofore
prepa~ed an assessment roll of the taxable property of
the oi ty of oooee, Florida, and the respec"lti va values
thereof, and as far as ,raoticable the owners thereof,
and,
WHEREAS, the City assessment roll has been
submitted to the City Council after due and proper no-
tice to the property owners whose property has been
increased, or corrected as to the values, and suoh other
requirements of notice have been met, and
1j1'I:IEREA.S, a review and equalization of the as-
roll by the City Council has been concluded, and
WHEREAS, a millage of 15 mills is necessary to
produce a. :eund sufl'icient to defray the actual debt ser-
vice requirements of the City of Ocoee, For the tax year
beginning November 1, 1952, and
WHEREAS, a millage of 4.9 mills ianecessary to
produce a fund sufficient to detray actual operating ex-
penses of the City of Ocoee, for the tax year beginniQg
November 1, 1952,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That a tax in the amount of 15 mills
upon the Dollar assessed valuation be, and it hereby is,
levied and assessed upon and against all property within
the corporate limits of the City of adO", Florida, in-
cluding property exempt from taxation for other lhan debt
service; the said 15 mills tax hereby levied is. levied in
full accordanoe and oomplianoe with a oer~ain resolution
of said City authorizing the isauanol ot o."l.in bonds
designated geJutral. refunding bonda:. taSUI otf-945, and
th8 proceeds of such 15 mills Aball be us~.~solely and

exclusively for the p~ment of interest upon said bonds
and the retirement of said bonds in accordancll with said
resolution.
Section 2. ~hat a further tax in the amount
:-
of 4.9 mills upon the dollar assessed valuation is here-
by levied and assessed upon all property within the oor-
porate limits of the City of Ocoee, Florida, which is
not exempt from munioipal taxation of the said City
under and by virtue of the Constitution of the State of
Florida.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordi-
nances in conflict hereWith be, and they are, to the
extent of sueh conflict, hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become ef-
fective immediately upon its passage by the City Counoil
and approval by the Mayor.
. Section 5. This ordinance shall be promu.l-
gate~ 93 ~osting copies of the same in three conspicuous
places in the City of Ocoee, Florida.
Section 6. Should any portion of this ordi-
nance be held invalid, or unconstitutional, then such
portion as is not d~clared invalid, or unconstitutional,
shall remain in full force and effect.
