Lot 11, Block B, o~ Pounds Addition, according to the Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book N, page 14, of the Public records of
Orange County, Florida.
;lHEREAS, the above described: lands are lying contiguous to the
municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and
vTIIEREAS, said tract of land contains less than ten registered
voters, and
vVHEREAS, the City of Ocoee did on the 1st day of April, A.D.1952,
duly adopt an ordinance declaring its intent to annex the said
tract of land, and
?ITrEREAS, the said ordinance was duly posted as prescribed by
law upon said lands and in said City of Ocoee f'or the period
prescribed by law, and
7OCR3AS, no objection to said annexation has been f'iled in the
Circuit Cour~ of Orange County, Florida, NOW THER~FORE,
BZ IT ORDAIESD BY TH3 CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the municipal boundaries of the City of' Ocoee,
Florida, be and they hereby are extended to include the follo~ing
described lands lying and situate in Orange County, Florida,
and that said tract of land be and it hereby is annexed to
the municipal territory of the City of' Ocoee, Florida, said
lands being more particularly described as f'ollows:
Lot 11, Block B, of Pounds Addition, according to the Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book N, page 14, of the Public records of
Orange County, Florida.
Section 2. That from and after the effective date of this
ordinance the City of' Ocoee, Florida, shall and will exercise
:full power and authority over the lands described in section
1 hereof and the City of' Ocoee shall have jurisdiction over said
lands, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Ocoee,
Florida, Chapter 10951, Special Acts 1925, and the laws of
the State of Florida, as fully and completely as the City of'
Ocoee now exercises power, authority and jurisdiction over
other lands within its municipal limits.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effedtive irnmediately
when passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor.
Section 4. Copies of' this ordinance shall be posted as pro-
vided by law and the Charter of the City of' Ocoee.
Sedtion 5. Should any portion of this ordinance be held invalid,
then such portions as are not declared to be invalid shall remain
in full force and effect.
Section 6. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
