AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR
THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, FOR THE TAX YEAR
BEGDE1ING NOVEMBER 1, 194:J, AND ENDING OCTOBER
31, 1942.
WHEREAS, The City assessment roll has submitted to the
City Council after due and proper notice, and a review and equali-
zation of said assessment roll by the City Council has been con-
cluded, and
VrnEREAS, it has been ascertained that the sum of
$230,000.00 is necessary to defray the actual operat-
ing "and debt service requirements of the municipal government of the
City of Ocoee for the tax collection year which begins on November
1, 1941, and which ends on October 31, 1942, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That a millage of .9:fte 9.<..~ mills is neces-
sary to produce a fund sufficient to defray the actual debt service
requirements of the municipal governrnent of the City of Qcoee for
the tax year which begins on November 1, 1941, and which ends on
October 31, 1942.
Section 2. That a millage of ! mills is necessary to pro-
duce a fund sufficient to defray the actual operating servlce re-
quirement of the municipal government of the City of Ocoee for the
said tax yeaJ....
Section 3. That the tax rate for the said City of Ocoee
for the said fiscal year shall be _~9~6 mills on the so-called
excluded properties, and ___.Q:6:5 "~9 mills on the properties re-
maining within the present city boundaries.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its becoming an ordinance.
Section 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be, and are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
