RESOLUTION NO. 95--11-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA ABANDONING AND
VACATING THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF THE THIRTY (30) FEET
OHNAMED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING A PORTION OF THE
NORTHERN BOOIfDARY OF LOT 4 OF MAGUIRE'S ADDITION TO OCOEE
SUBDIVISION EAST OF NORTH LAKESHORE DRIVE, LOCATED WITHIN
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF OCOEE WITHIN THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 22 SOOTH, RANGE 28
EAST, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK "Gn, PAGE 10, OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR
RECORDA'l'ION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the city Commission of the City of Ocoee desires
to abandon and vacate that certain portion of the thirty (30) feet
unnamed right-of-way abutting a portion of the northern boundary of
Lot 4 of Maguire's Addi tion to Ocoee, si tuated east of North
Lakeshore Drive Subdivision, according to the plat thereof, located
wi thin the corporate 1 imi ts of the Ci ty of Ocoee wi thin the
northwest quarter of Section 17, Township 22 South, Range 28 East,
as recorded in Plat Book "G", page 10, of the Public Records of

WHEREAS, the City commission of the City of Ocoee finds
that said application and supporting documents are in accordance
with the requirements of Article II of Chapter 153 of the Code of
the City of Ocoee and that the requested action is consistent with

the City of Ocoee Comprehensive Plan.
ROW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE. Authority. The City Commission of the City
of Ocoee has the authority to adopt this Resolution pursuant to
Article VIII of the Constitution of the state of Florida, Chapter
166, Florida statutes, and Article II of Chapter 153 of the Code of
the City of Ocoee.
SECTION TWO. Abandonment and Vacation of the Roadway.
Subject to the provisions of Section Three set forth below, the
City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, hereby abandons,
vacates and renounces any rights in and to that certain 30 feet
portion of the unnamed right-of-way abutting a portion of the
northern boundary of Lot 4, Maguire's Addition to Ocoee
Subdivision, east of North Lakeshore Drive, according to the plat
thereof, located within the corporate limits of the City of Ocoee,
within the northwest 1/4 of Section 17, Township 22 South, Range 28
East, as recorded in Plat Book "G", Page 10, according to the plat
thereof, all of the Public Records of Orange County, Florida, a
legal description of such roadway to be abandoned and vacated is
being attached hereto as Exhibit "An and by this reference made a

Range 28 East, thence run East along the North line of the South 1/4 Section line 415.26
feet to the Centerline of Lakeshore Drive; continue East 10,24 to the Easterly Right-of-
Way Line of Lakeshore Drive to the Point of Beginning; continue East along the North
line of said South 1/4 Section line 144.50 feet to a point in Starke Lake on the
