Mayor Breeze called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the meeting was
opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Present were comm.Stinnett,
Crawford and Whitehead; City Manager, vignetti; City Attorney, Rhodes; and
City Clerk, Gann. Comm. Lyle was absent.

Comm. Whitehead moved to accept the minutes as presented, seconded Comm.
Crawford. Unanimous.
ZONING BOARD DID NOT MEET
TRANSFER OF BEER/WINE LICENSE
Mr. Dye requested that his beer/wine license for the Shell Station located
on SR 50 be transfered to the new owner, Bruce Begley. Comm. Stinnett
moved to approve the request, seconded comm. Crawford. Unanimous.
GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE
City Manager stated that the present group health policy expired 1 August 78
and there would be an approximate 28% increase in cost if the city continued
coverage with Prudential. City Manager further stated that council needed
to make a decision to either stay with Prudential or put insurance out for
bids. Anthony Greco, Prudential Agent explained the increases. Comm.Stinnett
moved to stay with Prudential, seconded Comm. Crawford. Unanimous.
REPORTS AND INFORMATION - CITY MANAGER
City Manager reported the following:
There has been 6,080' of sidewalks completed in the city to date for a cost
of $29,923.80 and there is approximately $6,000 left to spend on sidewalks
before July. Recommended constructing sidewalks starting at Lady Ave. on the
south side of Ursula Street to the intersection of Doreen Ave. Comm.Crawford
moved to approve the recommendation, seconded Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous.
Requested authorization to pay:
a. Hubbard Construction $36,000.00, Street Dept.,Acct #7048
b. Central Florida Underground, $7,200.00, Water O&M Acct #1321
c. Brownie Septic Tank, $580.00, Recreation Acct.#908l
Comm. Stinnett moved to approve the requests for payment, seconded Comm.
Crawford. Unanimous.
Cost to repair baseball field/tennis court lights $847.70.
According to L.M. zeigler it will cost $2000. to repair air conditioner at
Youth Center. Comm.Stinnett recommended moving the air conditioner units to
the roof. Comm. Crawford moved to obtain bids on repairing the air conditionel
and moving it to the roof, seconded Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous.
Requested permission to raise Nancy Hardy from $75.00 per week to the minimum
wage ($2.65 per hr.). Comm. Whitehead moved to grant the request, seconded
Comm. Stinnett. Unanimous.
Jim Beech stated that he had been in contact with the President and Vice-
President of Senior League and they had assured him that a work session on
the building was planned for Thursday. Council agreed to wait until Friday
before making any decisions.

Meeting adjourned at 8:09 P.M.
