MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE HELD 7 NOV 78
Mayor Breeze called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the meeting was
opened with prayer by Reverend Pierce, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance
to the Flag. Present were Comm. Lyle, Stinnett, Whitehead and Crawford;
City Manager, Vignetti; City Attorney, Rhodes; and City Clerk, Gann.

Comm. Stinnett moved to accept the minutes as presented, seconded Comm.
Whitehead. Unanimous.
24 OCTOBER 78 ZONING BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Zoning Board minutes of 24 October 78 meeting were read for information only.
ELECTION-FIREMENS UNION - LATTER PART NOVEMBER OR FIRST PART DECEMBER
City Manager stated that an election will be conducted under the supervision
of the Fire Commission sometime in the latter part of November or the first
part of December.
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN ORANGE COUNTY'S FY 79/80 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM
Resolution will be presented at next meeting for council action.
WATER LINE EXTENSION - MALCOLM TO A.D. MIMS ROAD

Comm. Lyle moved to charge $500. to each of the nine property owners for their
share of the water line and $250. per water connection, and charged the City
Attorney with finding a legal method of collecting the money, seconded Comm.
Whitehead. Comm. Lyle,Whitehead & Stinnett yea, Comm. Crawford abstained
from voting. Motion carried.
Comm. Lyle moved to waive the water connection fee of $250. for the Victory
Baptist Mission and only charge them $500. for their share of the water
line, seconded Comm. Whitehead. Comm Lyle, Whitehead & Stinnett yea, Comm.
Crawford abstained from voting. Motion carried.
Council instructed the City Attorney to contact the attorney for the property
owners and resolve any doubts he has on the execution of the dedication of
the utility easements and road rights-of-way.
MAYOR/COUNCIL/CITY MANAGER REPORTS/INFORMATION
City Manager reported the following:
Canvassing Board meets 12:00 Noon, 8 Nov. 78.
Sam Oliver's annuity has been settled.
Construction of sidewalk on north side of Silver Star Road from the Pioneer
Key Park entrance to SR 437 is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

Comm. Crawford stated that a sidewalk was needed on Wurst Road at Fox Fire
Sub-division to Lady Avenue. Council agreed and instructed the City Manager
to have a sidewalk constructed in the above mentione area before beginning
construction on Silver Star Road.

Mayor Breeze called the meeting to order at 12:00 Noon and explained that
the purpose of this meeting was to verify the machine count and physically
count the absentee ballots. Present were Comm. Crawford, Lyle, Stinnett and
Whitehead; City Manager, Vignetti; and City Clerk, Gann.

Comm. Crawford moved to accept the count and declared Stinnett, Lyle and
Whitehead as the winners, seconded Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous.
Mayor Breeze administered the Oath of Office to Lyle, Stinnett & Whitehead.
Meeting adjourned at 12:15 P.M.
