Mayor Freema~ called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the meeting
was opened w~th the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Present were Comm.
Hager, Stinnett and Whitehead; City Manager, Vignetti; City Attorney,
Rhodes; and City Clerk, Gann. Comm. Lyle was absent.

Comm. Whitehead moved to accept the minutes as presented, seconded Comm.
Hager. Unanimous.
THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD DID NOT MEET
INSURANCE PROPOSALS-POLICE PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY & PUBLIC OFFICIALS ERRORS
& OMISSIONS - KEN ENLOW
Mr. Enlow briefed council on the present City coverage and discussed Police
Professional Liability & Public Officials Errors & Omissions coverage for
the following cost:
Police Professional Liability
$100M/300M/500M limits =$2,646.00
per year.
Public Officials Errors & Omissions= One Million Dollar limit
$1,754.00 per year.
Comm. Stinnett moved to purchase the above coverage, seconded Comm.Whitehead.
Unanimous.
ANNUAL FRONTIER DAYS - SPONSORED BY HARVEY PITTS FORD - RUDY BOWEN
Mr. Bowen explained that the Frontier Days celebration is being planned
to raise money for the Easter Seal organization. Mr. Bowen stated that
there had been some discussion about having a parade in the City of Ocoee,
if the parade is included in the celebration Mr. Bowen stated he would
come back and request permission to have the parade in the city.
REQUEST FOR CITY OF OCOEE'S BANKING BUSINESS - ERNIE JOHNSON
Mr. Johnson, manager of Orange Federal Savings & Loan Assoc. branch office,
located in the City of Ocoee requested that the city use the Ocoee Orange
Federal Savings & Loan facility as one of their depositories. Council
agreed to consider the request.
MUNICIPAL CODE CORP.- CITY CODE UPDATE
City Manager recommended that after the Planned unit Development zoning
is adopted that the City Code be updated, it will cost approximately $4560.
Comm. Stinnett moved to approve the City Managers recommendation, seconded
Comm. Whitehead. Unanimous.

City Manager reported the following:
The Boating Improvement Project should be finished by 12/28/79.

The next Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, 2 January 80.
Recommended giving the employees 31 December 79 off. Comm. Whitehead
moved to approve the recommendation, seconded Comm. Stinnett. Unanimous.
