FLORIDA 32761 GOOD FISHING GROUNDS June 16, 1971 NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT WELCOME TOURIST CITY POL I C I E S FOR CITY OF OCOEE EMPLOYEES The City of Ocoee will pay the employees premium and employees will pay for coverage of their dependents under a Group Plan. 1 year employment - 1 week vacation except police - 2 weeks 2 - 10 years employment - 2 weeks vacation 10 - 15 years employment - 3 weeks vacation 15 and over - 4 weeks vacation New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Any- one working one of the above holidays will be paid for two days work. If someone has another person work for them then the person who worked will be paid and not the one who was supposed to work. Comm. Miller suggested each employee put in applications for vacations by June 1st, of each year. OVERTI~lli: ~s a general policy, City Employees will not be paid overtime. It is realized that in times of emergency it may be necessary to pay for overtime and it will be kept to an absolute minimum. The use of Compensatory Time off is encouraged and shouel be utilized by employees during slow periods. SICK LEAVE: 1. Effective 1 July 71, City Employees will accrue sick leave at the rate of (1) one day per month not to exceed (12) twelve days per annum. Sick leave will be accumulated at this rate as long as the emp~ees remain employed by the City of Ocoee. . 2. Upon termination of employment by the City of employees will be paid for all accumulated leave. pay will be based on the employees rate of pay at of his employment. 3. :Vhen an employee has utilized all accumulated sick leave, pay will terminate unless the employee has been injured in line of duty. Benefits such as Workmens Compensation or Group Insurance payments will be returned to the City. Ocoee the Rate of termination 4.
