WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee has grown exceedingly rapidly since
1970 when the current Charter and Appendicies were adopted by
action of the City Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee Board of Commissioners is very
desirous of keeping pace with the growth of the City for the good
of the citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the transportation problems within the City are
compounded by the rapid growth. The City Board of Commissioners d
feels it is exceedingly important to plan for transportation needs
and address them as efficiently and effectively as possible.
NOW THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance Number 710, otherwise known as
Appendix A, to the City Charter, the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 3
thereof, Section 7, Subsection 7.2 Street Classification System,
be amended to read as follows:
For purposes of applying the standards established above, the
following streets shall be considered arterial or collector
streets. In certain cases, streets are listed which may be
annexed or extended as City boundaries are modified. Specific
alignments of such proposed street extensions shall be determined
by the Commission upon approval of subdivision plats in accordance
with Appendix B of the City Code. Any street that is not
specifically listed as an arterial or collector street shall be
considered a minor street.

RESOLUTION #85 -7
WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee from time to time has funds
on hand in excess of current needs, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
iv Ocoee and its inhabitants that funds be invested to return the
highest yield consistent with proper safegards,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Finance Director, under the direction of
the City Manager, be and hereby authorized to transmit such funds
to the State Board of Administration to be invested according
to applicable laws of the State of Florida consistent with the
needs of the City of Ocoee. Such authorization includes author-
ity to withdraw funds from State Board of Administration by
giving timely notice and confirmation by letter.
2. That this authorization shall be continuing in
nature until revoked by the Ocoee City Board of Commissioners.
THIS RESOLUTION INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED by the Ocoee
City Board of Commissioners at is regular meeting on Fourth
