AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA,
TO AMEND THE 1979 CITY OF OCOEE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 163.3187,
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE TO THE FUTURE LAND USE
ELEMENT AND GENERALIZED FUTURE LAND USE MAP;
PROVIDING DIRECTIONS TO THE CITY CLERK; AND
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the 1979 City of Ocoee Comprehensive Plan may
be amended from time to time to accomodate changing growth
patterns as provided in Florida Statute 163.3184; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee has
considered recommendations of its Local Planning Agency to
make changes to the Comprehensive Plan while preserving its
internal consistency and maintaining compliance with Florida
State Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee has
made findings of fact that all public meetings, hearings, and
notifications have been accomplished in accordance with
applicable Florida State Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee has
reviewed all available information including public, private,
and governmental comments pertaining to the proposed change
to its 1979 Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That, pursuant to authority granted by
Florida Statute 163.3187, the following described parcel(s}
shall henceforth be classified on the official Generalized
Land Use Map of the City of Ocoee as indicated below, in
accordance with the definitions of the Future Land Use
Element of the 1979 Comprehensive Plan:
TO BE CLASSIFIED MIXED:
Lot 14 of Lake Johio Shores located in the N.E. 1/4
of Section 16, Township 22 South, Range 28 East,
Orange County, Florida.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
update and supplement the official Generalized Future Land
Use Map of the City of Ocoee to include said amendment herein
described.

of this Ordinance proves to be invalid,
unconstitutional, it shall not be held to
impair the validity, force, or effect of any
or subsection or part of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 5: That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Florida
Department of Community Affairs immediately following its
passage and adoption.
SECTION 6: That this Ordinance shall take effect 22
days following its passage and adoption, and thereafter, the
City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of the
Ordinance with the Secretary of State of the State of
Florida.
