ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA AMENDING
APPENDIX A, CHAPTER II, SECTION 2 (2.1) PLANNING AND
ZONING COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF
ALTERNATES TO THE BOARD TO BE APPOINTED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Appendix A-Zoning, Chapter II, Administration and
Enforcement, Section 2, Planning and Zoning Commission, (2.1)
Establishment and composition, provides as follows:
The Planning and Zoning Commission shall consist of
seven (7) members and two (2) alternates appointed by
the City Commission. In the event that the seven (7)
regular members are not present, the Chairman shall
designate an alternate to act as a regular member.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of Ocoee, Flor ida has
determined it to be in the best interest of the Ci ty to amend
this provision to allow the City Commission to appoint an
unlimited number of alternates to the Planning and Zoning
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COMMISSION OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HEREBY
ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The existing Appendix A-Zoning, Chapter II,
Administration and Enforcement, Section 2, Planning and Zoning
Commission, (2.1) Establishment and composition, is hereby
amended as follows:
The Planning and Zoning Commission shall consist of
seven (7) members appointed by the City Commission and
a number of alternates, to be determined, and appointed
by the City Commission, at its discretion. In the
event that the seven (7) regular members are not
present, the Chairman shall designate an alternate to
act as a regular member.
SECTION II. If any section or portion of the Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not
be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of
any other section or portion of a section or subsection or part
of this Ordinance.

SECTION III.All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage and adoption. .
