Subject: Certify Appointment to the City of Ocoee General Employees' Pension Board.
Background Summary:
Trustees of the Pension Board for the City of Ocoee Municipal General Employees' Retirement Trust Fund
currently serve four-year terms. Two of the trustees are appointed by the City Commission, two are elected
from the employee body, and the fifth trustee is chosen by those four trustees and presented to the City
Commission for certification of the appointment as a ministerial act.
Issue:
During the Regular Session of the City of Ocoee General Employees' Pension Board, held on August 4,
2010, the Trustees choose to reappoint Wendy West as the Fifth Board Member for the term beginning
October 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2014.
Recommendations
The Board of Trustees of the General Employees' Retirement Trust Fund respectfully request the City
Commission certify the reappointment of Wendy West to serve the term beginning October 1, 2010 and
ending September 30,2014.
