PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
Members Present: Chat±man H. M. Bowness, B.E. Stovall,
W. H. Wurst, Jerry Kennedy
Meeting called to order by chairman H. M. Bowneww.
Minutes of last meeting read by each member. B. E. Stovall
made a motion to accept the minutes. Jerry Kennedy
seconded the motion and motion was carried unanimously.
Agenda: Public hearing on Petition 71- 6(request for a
zoning variance relating to the reducing of David Harper's
yard space to enlarge his home) 711 Starke Lake Circle.
There was no one present to object to the request. B. E.
Stovall made motion to accept the zoning variance request.
Seconded by Jerry Kennedy. Motion was carried unanimously.
B. E. Bracewell came before the board asking for a zoning
variance to enlarge his home beyond the required feet
on his property Lot 314, 1500 Jemima Ave. in Peach Lake
Manor.
As Mr. Bracewell did not have the pepper petition and
no notices were sent out for the public hearing required,
he gave several reasons why the zoning ordinance should
be changed so time would not be lost in building on
his home.
There was a thorough discussion on the matter. Mr.
Bracewell said that he was not properly informed of the
procedure that was required.
Jerry Kennedy said that it was unfortunate circumstances
but should be done legally through proper channels.
W. H. Wurst insisted that the building inspector be at
all planning and zoning board meeting, so that he would
be properly informed of all business.
BeE. Stovall asked the recording secretary to inform
office employees of the proper channels for these zoning
problems so there would be no misrepresentation to the
public.
Jerry Kennedy said that he had contacted three people
in connection with replacing Ted Michelson, but had
gotten no results.
W. H. Wurst made motion to adjourn. Jerry Kennedy
seconded motion. Motion carried. Adjourned $:30 P.M.

NOTICE OF INTENT
AIRPORT HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a representative of the
Department of Transportation, Division of Mass Transit
Operations on October 12, 1970, inspected a Proposed Air-
port Site for use as a Public Airport at Latitude 28 36'
19" North, Longitude 81° 32' 28" West, in Section approximately 2, 5,
6, Township 21 and 27 south, Range 28 east,
three miles north of Ocoee, four miles northwest of Winter
Garden, five miles southwest of Apopka, upon Windermere,
of Tri -City Airport Authority, Post
Florida 32786.
Inspection reveals the site, as proposed by the ap-
plicant, to be suitable for the purpose intended.
Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to Florida
Statutes 330.30 that a PUBLIC HEARING will t Orange conducted
Monday, November 29, 1971 at 7:30 p.m. n
Commissioners Chamber, Room 327, Orange County Courthouse,
