MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING OF JUNE 27, 1972
MEMBERS PRESENT: Carmon Hamby, Glen Thomas, Ed Brooklyn, W. H.
Wurst, H. M. Bowness
Meeting was called to order by H. M. Bowness at 7 :10 P M.
Glen Thomas made the motion Ray Amick send a letter of recon-
mendation to the City Council to go ahead with the Sewage Plant,
N. of . the City Barn W. side- Lake Moxey. (This was the first
Location) Seconded by Ed Brooklyn.
Ned Vick came before the Board to request said property be
Annexed into the City, and be zoned C -3. Motion was made by
Carmon Hamby, Seconded by Glen Thomas.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION (Hudson Tract)
The north I of the NW * of Sec 29, twp 22 S, R 28 E, (less that
portion lying east of St. Rd. 526, also less the NW * of the
NW I of the NW *, also less road R/W on the north for St. RD.
50 and on the west for St. Rd.439 and also less R/W for rail-
road.) All lying in Orange County, Florida.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION(Vaughan Tract)
NW * of the NW of the NW * of Sec 29, Twp 22S, R 28 E, less
portionsconveyed for Maguire Road and Highway 50 right -of -way
purposes. Less,from the NW corner of Sec 29, Twp 22 S,R 28 E,
Orange County, Florida, run south 00 deg 39' 00" East 74.63 ft
along the west boundary of said Sec 29; thence north 89 deg
40' 10" east 52.41 ft for the point of beginning, said point
of beginning being the point of intersection of the easterly
R/W line of Maguire Rd. with the Southerly R/W line of St. Rd.
50; thence run north 89 deg 40' 10" east 200.00 ft. along
said southerly R/W line of St. Rd. 50; thence south 00 deg
22' 34" west 175.00 ft; thence south 89 deg 40" 10" west 200.00
ft to a point on the aforesaid easterly R /W line of Maguire Rd;
thence north 00 deg 22" 34• east 175.00 ft to the point of
beginning. Containing 0.0834 acres.
Subject to easements and restrictions of record, if ary,
however, this reference shall not serve to reimpose same.
Jack Spradly (Spradley Builders) came before the Board requesting
a zoning change of said property be rezoned from R -1AAA to R -1AA.
There will be a Public Hearing July 25, 1972 at 7 :00 P. M.
Jay Carroll came before the Board to seek approval on a Variance
granted 6/27/72. Ed Brooklyn made the motion to grant the request
and leave said property as is.(Frangwynn Book Co. Inc., D /B /A
Allied Book Co.)

Center Section Line of said Section 19 a distance of 585.23 Feet,

ginning, Continue thence N 0 29' 42" W a distance of 193.36 feet,
thence S 88 12' 36" W a distance of 200.58 feet, thence S 0 29'
42" E a distance 217.80 feet, to the North Right -of -way Line of
Story Road, thence N 88 12' 36" E along saidNorth Right -of -way
Line a distance of 176.14 feet, to the Point of Curvature of a
Curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 25 feet and a central
angle of 88 42' 18 ", thence Northeasterly along thearc of said
curve a distance of 38.70 feet to the Point of Tangency thereof,
said Point being the Point of Beginning. (Cantaining 1 Acre.)
Glen Thomas make the motion C. E. Dickey be granted his request to
build a screened patio on his property , on.•F.lewelling. It will be
11 feet wide, leaving a 7 ft. easement, provided be get a building
permit. Seconded by Ed Brooklyn.
Ed Brooklyn made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Glen Thomas.
Motion carried and adjourned 8:31 P. M.
