MINUTES OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
OF SEPTEMBER 26, 1972
MEMBERS PRESENT: CARMON HAMBY, BOB STCVALL,
ED BROOKLYN, RAY LAIT, GLEN THOMAS,
H.M. BONESS
Meeting called to order by Mr. Bowness at 7 :03.
1. Mr. Vignetti explained Amick Construction Co.
proposal for annexation & zoning R1A of Twin
Lakes Manor. Discussion held about sewage plot
& land for ball park.(6 acres for sewage and ball
park). Mr. Stovall made motion to annex the 42
acres and zone it R1A. vir. Brooklyn second motion.
2. Mr. Vignetti explained Cliff Freeman's proposal of
annexation & rezoning of A D Mins Rd. Discussions
were held on relocation of sewage plot, rentals,
and rezoning areas to fit property surrounding this
area. Mr. Stovall made motion for them to obtain
firm commitment on sewage plot then return for
proposals, Glen Thomas seconded motion.
3. Jim Gladin brought pictures explaining apartment
project on Silver Star Rd. It is annexed & zoned R3
110 Ed Brooklyn made motion to accept the plan. Mr. Bowness
seconded the motion.
4. Hazes Griffith came requestion rezoning of lots 4 &5
Block 4, Map of Ocoee as recorded in Plat Book A,
pages 100 & 101, Public Records of Orange County.
Glen Thomas made motion for her to file application
for petition and have public hearing. Motion was
seconded by Mr. Bowness.
5. Mr. Boggan Amme requesting variance for building code.
He wanted 10 ft. off the back of 2 lots to make
them 70 ft. instead of 60 ft. (They are located of
Orange Ave) He then wants to build one house on
two of the three lots. Mr. Hamby made motion to go
ahead seconded by Mr. Stovall. Zoning R1AAA.
6.Red Folsom needed variance on lots for R1AAA houses.
The lots call for 80 ft. but they are only 75 ft.
Glen Thomas made motion that he make application
for variance, seconded by Mr. Stovall.
Mr. Stovall made the motion to adjourn, seconded by
Mr. Hamby. Motion carried and adjourned at 8 :55 P.M.

ZONING ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF OCOEE
PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTS OF ZONING CHANGES, VARIANCES,
ANNEXATIONS, ETC.
1. MAKE FORMAL REQUEST TO RECORDING SECRETARY OR CHAIR-
MAN OF THE BOARD TO BE PLACED ON THE AGENDA.
2. HAVE COMPLETE PLANS, MAPS, DESCRIPTIONS, ETC. TO BE
LEFT WITH THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AT THE FIRST
MEETING.
3. SET DATE FOR NEXT FOLLOWING REGULAR MEETING FOR
CONSIDERATION BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD BE-
FORE ANY PUBLIC HEARING IS SET.
