McROBERTS, EDWARD BROOKLYN, ROBERT STOVALL. THE MEETING WAS BROUGHT TO ORDER AT 7 :00 p.m. 1. NED VICK- Mr. Vick came before the board requesting the property located at the South -East corner of Cumberland Ave. and Silver Star Rd. be re -zoned for the purpose of placing a convience store on this land. It is presently zoned residential, m V' k stated that tt hh was 265 fee of fronta e n Silv Star h an� approx. 3DU r tt. on Cumber and Ave. 11 Dick pointed out that Silver Star was becoming a commercial area. There was discussion as to whether it would create a traffic problem in this area. Mr. Wurst stied that Silver Star Rd. should be four laved. Mr. Wurst made a motion to table the request at the present time and study the situation further.. Mr. McRobert seconded the motion. Motion was carried by Mr. Lait, Mr. Brooklyn, Mr. Bowness, and Mr. Stovall. No NO'S. Mr. Bowness suggested to Mr. Vick to be at the next Council Meeting and present it to the Commissioners. 2. STEPHAN REW- Mr. Rew came before the board to ask for a varience on property located at Franklin St and Kissimmee Ave. Mr. Rew would like to move a mobile home on this property until such time as a permanent home could be built. Mr. Wurst made the motion to grant a varience subject to approval by the council with a limit of 2 years for the mobile home with the stipulation that Mr. Rew clean up this area of land. Mr. Stovall seconded the motion. Motion was carried by Mr. Bowness, Mr. Lait, Mr. McRobert, and Mr. Brooklyn. No NO'S. 3. Mr. Brooklyn made the motion that any building, 3 stories or higher be required to have automatic sprinkler systems. Mr. McRoberts seconded the motion. Motion was carried by Mr. Lait, Mr. Bowness, Mr. Stovall, Mr. Wurst. No NO'S. There was some discussion on the opening of Bluford Ave. through to Maguire Rd. Mr. Stovall made the motion to adjourn, Mr. Brooklyn seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. Re pectively Submitted, �/ inda Watkins City Clerk
