PRESENT: BREEZE, MEEKS, ANZZOLIN, RHODES, THOMAS
ABSENT: NONE
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Breeze at 7 :40 P. M.
The minutes were approved as read. However, Chairman Breeze advised
the Board that both the Amick and the Armstrong petitions had been
withdrawn.
1. PETITION 74 -8: Mr. Coffman requests variance on his Lots 15, 16,
17, 18, 19, and 20 -Block A, Seegar Subdivision to permit 51' frontage
rather than 70'. He states that the Health Department requested in
August that he tear down existing houses, which he did in November,
expecting to put in an apartment building. He did not accomplish
this within the given time limit and now wishes to construct concrete
I m block houses in the $23,000 - $24,000 price range, complying with all
other zoning requirements but front footage. Chairman Breeze advised
that the laws of public information have been complied with by the
Board and requested opinions from the audience. Response from the
neighbors present was favorable. The motion to accept the petition
was made by Mr. Meeks and seconded by Mr. Rhodes. Motion carried
unanimously.
2. PETITION 74 -9: Mr. Pounds came before the Board of Adjustments
requesting a variance to use his Lots 1 and 2 -Block B, Lakeview
Third Addition which are presently zoned R1AAA, stating that by
using two lots together he can meet all set -back requirements and,
in addition, Mr. Pounds requests that he be permitted to use R1A
requirements for the construction of the three bedroom house he
proposes to build. The motion to accept the petition was made by
Mr. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Meeks. Vote was unanimously in
t im favor.
