BY CHAIRMAN BREEZE TO CONSIDER R. G. AMICK'S PETITION 75 -1 DATED APRIL 2,1975. IN THIS PETI— TION MR. AMICK REQUESTS A VARIANCE TO SECTION 4, SUBSECTION 4, PARAGRAPH 5 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF OCOEE RELATING TO THE AREA OF THE BUILDING'S FLOOR. THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT WURST ROAD, LOTS 1 -119 IN FOXFIRE SUB— DIVISION AND IS PRESENTLY ZONED R1(AS OF SEPTEMBER 3, 1974). MR. AMICK HAS ALREADY INSTALLED STREETS, DRAINAGE, SEWER AND WATER LINES IN THIS AREA AND WISHES THE VARIANCE SO THAT HOMES WITH 800 SQ. FT. (2BEDROOMS), 900 SQ. FT. (3 BEDROOMS), AND 1000 SQ. FT. (4 BEDROOMS) ALL WITH ENCLOSED tme GARAGES,CAN BE BUILT. HE INTENDS TO SELL THE PROPERTY TO HIS SON —IN —LAW, MR. JEFF FUQUA, WHO WILL CAUSE MODEL HOMES TO BE BUILT AND WILL CONSTRUCT HOUSES AS THEY ARE SOLD. THE HOUSES ARE IDENTICAL TO THE ONES NOW BEING BUILT AT QUAIL TRAIL EAST OF ORLANDO BY ROSS HOMES, AND WILL BE COMPLETED WITH GARAGES, CENTRAL AIR AND WILL BE FULLY CARPETED. MR. AMICK ASSURED THE BOARD THAT CITY SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS INCLUDING SIDEWALKS, UNDER— GROUND UTILITIES, ETC. WOULD BE COMPLIED WITH. CH. BREEZE QUESTIONED NEW MEMBERS GARLINGTON AND MAXEY TO ASCERTAIN THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THEIR DUTIES AS MEMBERS AND THEN EXPLAINED THE PETITION TO THE AUDIENCE . HE THEN ASKED FOR OPINIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. AFTER DISCUSSION AROUND THE TABLE MR. GARLINGTON MADE THE MOTION TO GRANT THE VARIANCE. SECONDED BY MR. MAXEY.
