L. PRESENT: BOWNESS, MCROBERT, LAIT, BROOKLYN, CARTER, THOMAS AND TURNER.
ABSENT:
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
James Crosby, Jr. came before the board stating that he wished to
withdraw his request of putting a mobile home on his property while con-
structing a permanent home.
Bobby Meeks was on the agenda, but not present.
Jerry Scott of 500 Apricot Drive came before the board requesting
permission to build an 8' high concrete block fence around his lot.After
much discussion Mr.Thomas requested a two week delay in order for the
board to research the zoning laws and City ordinances on fences'. Mr.Scott
was ask to come back on 10 June 75.
Mr. Thomas suggested a work session before the next meeting. A work
session will be held on 3 June 75 at the West Orange Bank.
There was much discussion as to whether or not James Crosby, Sr.
i ever received a 120 day permit (for parking trailer in residential area)
as so required in the September, 1971 minutes. The Zoning Board also feels
that the City isn't following up on these regulations. The Board has also
requested copies of all correspondence on the Crosby, Sr. property.
Mr.McRobert questioned the legality of the trailers parked along side
the shopping center and suggested this situation be reviewed.
Mr. Bowness questioned Mr.Thomas as to the Building Inspectors re-
action to attending the Zoning Board meetings. It was revealed that the
Building Inspector cannot attend the meetings due to the illness of his
wife.
Mr.Carter request that council forward any changes in the building
codes to the Zoning Board.
There was much discussion as to the time limit on when construction
must start in "Fox Fire ", or property will revert back to the original
zoning.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
