PRESENT: Chairman Bowness, Carter, Brooklyn, Peck, McRobert, Turner and
Thomas.
ABSENT: None.
Meeting called to order at 7:55 P. M. by Chairman Bowness.
I. Public Hearing on Petition 76 -2 (Richard Gardner) Use Permitted
On Review
Mr. Gardner, owner of R & L Market appeared before the Board
for hearing on his request to establish a mobile home on Highway 50 for
security and dwelling purposes.
No objectors were present. Following much discussion Mr. McRobert
moved to recommend to Council to issue a permit to Mr. Gardner for no
longer than two years and no longer than he resides thereon provided
following the two years said issue must be reviewed again to either grant
or deny request providing it is not in confliction with any ordinance
passed by the City since 1971 and since the writing of the Charter refer-
ence Chapter 3.6 Section 3 in the Planning and Zoning Code. Mr. Carter
seconded motion.
Further discussion was brought up. Mr. McRobert withdrew his
motion and Mr. Carter withdrew his second. Mr. McRobert motioned to grant
Mr. Gardner a permit for use permitted on review for no longer than two
years and no longer than he resides thereon provided following the two
years said issue be reviewed again to either grant or deny request provid --
ing it is not in confliction with any ordinance passed by the City since
1971 and since the writing of the Charter reference Chapter 3.6 Section 3
in the Planning and Zoning Code. Mr. Peck seconded. Vote unanimous.
Motion carried.
Being no further business, Mr. Turner motioned to adjourn seconded
by Mr. Peck. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 P. M.
