Mr. John Timbes, member of the Planning and Zoning Board, using maps
and diagrams, showed residents of Prima Vista, Sleepy Harbor Condo-
miniums and neighboring areas existing zoning and improvements in the
city and requested citizens' suggestions for future improvements. •
The following are suggestions from the citizens in attendance (see
attached):
1. Tennis Courts or pool at old city dump.
2. Allow no homes to be constructed with less than 1000 square feet of
living area.
3. Desperate need for playgrounds and parks.
4. Eliminate excessive noise and unsightly homes.
5. Boats and travel trailers should not be parked in front yards.
6. Clean up Starke Lake for purpose of municipal pool.
7. Have zoning maps reduced and availiable for citizens to study.
8. Better street signs.
9. Remain small and not much more growth.
10. Highest residential zoning should be where the lakes are.
Respectfully submitted,
Esther Fannin
Deputy Clerk
