HELD DECEMBER 13, 1978
PRESENT: Brooklyn, Lait, Rodgers, McRobert, Busch
Absent: Bowness, Thomas, Carter, Timbes, Hall, Hager
Meeting convened at 1:45 P. M. Mr. James Sayes, Specialist with the
Department of Community Affairs and Rick Anderson from Briley Wild and
Associates appeared before the Zoning Board for a brief report of the
status of the 701 Comprehensive Plan.
Mr. Anderson stated that a formal presentation of the first draft
of the first phase of plans will be held December 19th. The first phase
will include land use,drainage, traffic circulation and present existing
conditions.
Mr. Sayes briefed the Board on HUD's requirements for the plan. A
question and answer session followed.
Mr. Anderson feels there is a need for each citizen to receive a
questionnaire of the plan. He also suggested it would be advisable
to have a joint session with the City Council to keep them updated on
the plans for the City.
Meeting closed at 3:30 P. M.
