BREEZE; MEMBERS SANDERS, BROOKLYN, AHO, THOMAS AND 1 LAHDE Log ABSENT: COLELLA AND YOUNT CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Breeze at 7:30 P.M. in the Commission Chambers. 29 MARCH 83 MINUTES CORRECTED AND APPROVED Chairman Breeze pointed out the attachments for the minutes of March 29, 1983 should have been attached and bhould also be attached to the next two Commission Meeting Minutes. Motion was made by Mr. Thomas seconded by Mr. Brooklyn to approve March 29, 1983 minutes as corrected. Vote was unanimous. REQUEST FOR ZONING CHANGE - 125 ACRES NORTH OF A.D. MIMS RD. FROM PUD TO R1A - MR. WALTER KUHRT Being determined that no petition had been filed, Walter Kurht representing Dr. Hubert R. Earley, gave a brief presentation for a future request for the zoning change of 125 acres north of A.D. Mims Rd. from PUD to R1A. The Planning and Zoning Board gave a favorable opinion. No action was taken. REQUEST FOR ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF R1A - 10 ACRES NORTH OF A.D. MIMS RD. - MR. WALTER KUHRT y Walter Kuhrt representing Dr. Hubert R. Earley gave a brief presentation for a future request for annexation and zoning of R1A for 10 acres north of A.D. Mims Rd. No petition had been filed so no action was taken. The Planning and Zoning Board gave a favorable opinion of said request. PRELIMINARY PLANS PRESENTATION - 62 ACRE DEVELOPMENT OCOEE HILLS RD. AND SILVER STAR RD. - MR. WALTER KUHRT Mr. Walter Kuhrt presented the preliminary plans for a future development of approximately 62 acres, zoned R1A, off Ocoee Hills Rd. and Silver Star Rd. Planning and Zoning Board gave a favorable opinion of plans. REQUEST FOR ZONING CLASSIFICATION - HELLER BROS. PROPERTY 600 ACRES SOUTH OF FLORIDA TURNPIKE - MR. GLENN JACKSON Mr. Glenn Jackson representing Heller Bros. gave a presentation for a future request for the zoning and annexation for 600 acres south of the Florida Turnpike. Planning and Zoning Board recommended zoning of R1A and further recommended Heller Bros. consider PUD approach. With said recommendation Planning and Zoning Board gave a favorable opinion. Mr. Hal Cordy one of the property owners of the West Orlando Airport expressed the property owners objection of the development because L . it would hinder any future extension of the airport's runway. PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING MINUTES MAY 10, 1983 Page 2 Chairman Breeze informed his term on the Planning and Zoning Board ends May 20, 1983 and he does not wish to be reappointed.
