(District 2 Commissioner Wilsen) Background Summary: This property was cited on December 03, 2008 for a violation for excessive weeds and grass growth. On June 19, 2009 the property came into compliance with the City. On January 27, 2009, the Code Enforcement Board issued an order to comply by February 06, 2009 or be fined $150.00 per day. Issue: Mr. Michael Rappaport, the new owner of the property is requesting a reduction of fine /lien plus City's cost of $19,950.00 plus $569.33 administrative cost totaling $20,519.33. Mr. Michael Rappaport, new owner of the property is requesting a reduction of fine /lien for $19,950.00 plus City's cost of $569.33 totaling $20,519.33. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION This property was cited on December 03, 2008 for a violation of excessive weed and grass growth.
