skills, and providing places for employment; and

opportunities for young people to live, grow, and development into
contributing members society; and

continuous life experiences for older members of the community; and
W E QIZi§, Parks, Recreation activities and leisure experience generate
opportunities for people to come together and experience a sense of
community; and

communities by attracting businesses, jobs, and increasing home values;

%, ea.ezta), The City of Ocoee recognizes the vital contributions of employees and
volunteers in parks and recreation services; and
ViQeien f§, Parks, and Recreation agencies touch the lives of individuals, families,
groups, and the entire community in ways which positively impact the
social, economic, health and environmental quality of our community;

do hereby proclaim the Month of July 2012 as
RECREATION AND PARKS MONTH
in the City of Ocoee, and urge all citizens to get outside and enjoy the parks and
