MINUTES OF OCOEE CITY COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING HELD APRIL 20, 1982
PRESENT: Mayor Freeman; Commissioners Hager, Lyle, Stinnett, Whitehead; City Manager
Vignetti; City Attorney Rhodes; Deputy Clerk Grafton
ABSENT: None
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Freeman called the meeting to order in the Commission Chambers at 7:30 P.M.
and then led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance.
13 APRIL 82 MINUTES CORRECTED
Upon hearing the minutes of the regular meeting held 13 April 82, Building Official
Hurst suggested that the motion regarding approval of Mr. Griffin's request to re-
zone from RIA to C2 Lots 4, 5 & 6 Blk D Marion Park should read "moved to proceed
with plans to rezone as requested." Comm. Whitehead moved to approve minutes as
corrected. Comm. Stinnett seconded and vote was unanimous in fav~r.

COMMISSION ACCEPTS P & Z BOARD RECOMMENDATION TO REZONE NE CORNER TAYLOR/FRANKLIN ST.
Comm. Lyle moved to proceed as recommended by P & Z Board to rezone
the NE corner of Franklin St. and Taylor St., which is owned by the

ORDINANCE: ZONING CHANGE RIA TO C2,CORNER BLUFORD AVE/OAKLAND ST.-GRIFFIN-lst READING
Comm. Hager moved to read by title only for the first reading of the ordinance changing
the zoning from RIA to C2 for Lots 4, 5 & 6 Block D Marion Park. Comm. Stinnett
seconded and vote was unanimous in favor.
TRAFFIC SIGNAL-STORY ROAD/KISSIMMEE AV!. ORDERED
Mr. Bruce O'Donoghue, representing Control Specialist Company, proposed to install
a traffic signal meeting State DOT and County specifications at Story Road and
Kissimmee Avenue for $13,426. The installation will be covered by a one year
warranty. Comm. Lyle moved to aeeept proposal, Comm. Stinnett seeonded and vote
was unanimous in favor.
TWIN LAKES MANOR 1ST ADDITION DRAINAGE PROBLEM TO BE CORRECTED
City Manager Vignetti advised that Building Official Hurst would neither issue
permits nor finalize any houses for RCA until the drainage problem in Twin Lakes
Manor 1st Addition has been resolved.
FY8l-82 2nd QUARTER BUDGET REVIEW AND SALARY INCREASE REQUEST
Mr. Vignetti reviewed the second quarter budget and asked for a salary increase for
employees giving those earning $8,000 $10,000 a 10% increase,
10,001 15,000 a 5% increase,
15,001 25,000 a 3% increase, effective May 1, 1982.
Comm. Lyle moved to increase salaries as requested. Comm. Whitehead seconded and
vote was unanimous in favor.
