I' Background Summary: The Code Enforcement Board was created by Ordinance No. 741 on June 16, 1981. The purpose of this board is to review infractions of the City technical Codes negotiate compliance and impose fines for failure to comply. The Code Enforcement Board is to have seven (7) regular members and two (2) alternate members, all with three year terms. There are no applications currently on file. The three -year terms of Darrell Lowery, Keith Carrington, and Elizabeth Osborne ends June 2015. All members have indicated their willingness to serve another term, if reappointed. At the May 26th meeting, the Board elected Darrell Lowery and Keith Carrington as Chair and Vice - Chair. Issue: Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners consider reappointing Darrell Lowery, Keith Carrington, and Elizabeth Osborne to serve another three -year term on the Code Enforcement Board ending June 2018? Recommendations Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners consider reappointing Darrell Lowery, Keith Carrington, and Elizabeth Osborne to serve another three -year term on the Code Enforcement Board ending June 2018.
