Leasing ofHoUday Lights and .Decorations Background Summary: Clark Display Sales, Winter Garden, Florida has traditionally provided the City's Holiday lights and decorations on existing utility poles where Progress Energy has provided electrical connections throughout the city. The terms of the lease include installation and removal by Clark Display Sales. City Commission has approved purchasing these lights and decorations in the FY 2005-06 Budget. However, due to insufficient storage at present, staff recommends leasing rather than purchase for at least another year when ample storage areas will be available in the new Public Works facility. Recommendations Staff recommends that the City Commission approve the leasing of the Holiday lights and decorations from Clark Display Sales and authorize staff to issue a purchase order to Clark Display Sales.
