Budget Workshops of August 15 and August 16, 1990
Commissioner Woodson noted that there was a typographical error in
the minutes of the August 15 workshop: on page 3, paragraph 2 the
amount for Christmas decoration should be $10,000 rather than
$10,00. Commissioner Foster noted that in the minutes of the
workshop of August 16 on page 1, paragraph 3 the cost per linear
foot of sidewalk should be $7.50 rather than $750.

Commissioner Woodson said that his statement regarding the Over 65
Program on page 2 in the minutes of the special session September
12 should read as follows: "Although the 65 Program has been in
over ten years and taking away money from the water and sanitation
departments, that particular part had been made up in taxes
anyway, and so they couldn't blame the whole one-half mill on
senior citizens." There were no further corrections or additions
to the minutes. Commissioner Woodson, seconded by Commissioner
Combs, moved to approve the minutes of each of the meetings as
corrected. Motion carried with unanimous vote in favor.
