Lakeshore Dr. Ocoee, FL 34761 SEPTEMBER 6,2017 AGENDA 6:00 P.M. I. CALL TO ORDER A. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance B. Roll Call and Determination of Quorum II. PUBLIC HEARING A. Mayor's Announcement B. Briefing by City Attorney C. Briefing by Finance Director: review of additions/deletions to the budget since August 1, 2017 distribution, the percentage increase in millage over the rolled-back rate necessary to fund the budget and the specific purpose for which ad valorem tax revenues are being increased. 1. Public Comments. (Each speaker must fill out a speaker form and present it to the Recording Secretary prior to speaking.) 2. Comments by Commissioners. 3. Motions by Commissioners for amendments to the proposed tentative budget. NOTE: RECESS(if needed)to recompute the proposed millage rate and rolled-back percentage increase. D. Announcement by Finance Director: recomputed proposed millage rate and the percent by which the recomputed proposed millage rate exceeds the rolled-back rate. This percentage is the proposed tentative percentage increase in property taxes. 1. Public Comments.
